LM-1 Degausser
The LM-1 Degausser uses a conveyor belt system that provides rapid, continuous erasure with a throughput of up to 1,300 magnetic tapes or hard disk drives per hour. Simply turn it on and place the media on the moving belt. The tape or hard disk drive (HDD) is pulled inside the degausser where it passes a shielded permanent magnet that completely sanitizes the media and drops it into your bin for recycling or disposal. Complete hard drive erasure is guaranteed. Trusted by the National Security Agency (NSA) and Department of Defense (DoD), the LM-1 Degausser is listed in the NSA/CSS Evaluated Products List for Magnetic Degaussers.
ERASURE:
Independent scientific testing confirms this degausser erases Longitudinal Magnetic Recorded (LMR) and Perpendicular Magnetic Recorded (PMR) hard disk media with a coercivity of 5000 Oersteds and tape media with a coercivity of 3000 Oersteds.*

FASTEST CYCLE TIME:
The LM-1 Degausser’s conveyor system allows operators to degauss one piece of media every two seconds, making it the fastest degausser available. Designed for organizations with large quantities of media and/or limited manpower, the fast cycle time of the LM-1 Degausser adds ease and efficiency to your media sanitization needs.
DEGAUSS & DESTROY DUO:
Can be paired with the Data Security, Inc.® DX-8 Destruction Device to create a complete closed-loop, one-touch degauss and destroy system.
